Gloucester Historic Buildings Ltd worked with Avondown Housing Association to help save, through acquisition and repair, 91 Westgate Street. The building (pictured left) is all that remains of the former Crown Inn, later the town house of the Hyett family. The company also saved numbers 81 to 83 Westgate Street – formerly the Army & Navy stores – now refurbished as the Old Crown Inn (pictured right).
